Open day on Saturday, March 26 from 9am to 12pm.
This 16th century farmhouse was divided in 2016 into a co-housing project with 9 homes and tastefully renovated. The farmhouse has a rich history and is located in Mélin, voted the most beautiful village in Wallonia 2021. The corner house is located at the front right of the farm and offers with its 200m² living space and 3 bedrooms enough space for a family with children.
The house was renovated with quality materials and very tastefully decorated. The layout is as follows: Entrance hall with stairs to the upper floors and a WC under the stairs, spacious living room with fireplace and view of the courtyard, spacious and very well equipped kitchen with fridge and freezer, induction hob, stove hood, microwave, oven, coffee machine and dishwasher. All appliances are from Bosch.
Second floor: large landing with desk, bathroom with very large walk-in shower, bath, toilet and double sink, technical room and a large bedroom that can be divided for an extra bedroom.
Second floor: large landing, night hall and two bedrooms under the roof.
The house is heated with a central heating system on pellets that controls both the radiators and the domestic hot water. There is a tank of 500kg of pellets in the basement. There is also a fireplace in the living room.
Furthermore, the house has a private garden (100m²), 2 private carports and an additional garden (1400m²) which remains the property of the community but on which the owners have a long term usufruct. On the latter a beautiful wooden terrace was built and has unique views to nature, ideal for BBQs in summer. The cellars, courtyard, parking and grounds are common property (with the exception of the private garden). There are also community fees paid of €37.5 per month for the community. This covers the common costs such as the block policy, electricity in the common areas, the trustee and common investments such as the construction of the parking.
